Literacy workshop

Far more people attended than Paul and Marina Briggs expected, but that was a wonderful problem to have. They scrambled to produce enough materials to send back with them and they used around 4,500 pages to print more teaching booklets, readers and lessons.

They were also happy to be able to provide blackboards for several of the literacy centres. Pray for the teachers as they return to their home villages to begin or continue teaching young people and adults who cannot read or write.

Recently the final adjustments were made to the text of the Loron Gospel of John and it is ready for printing. The Loron translation team and committee members have done a huge amount of work to get things to this stage, and Paul and Marina are thankful for each one of them. Please continue to pray for them.
