Paul and Marina had some visitors from Burkina and Senegal at the same time, so it was a pretty busy weekend. The believers had a great time together. Dozens of Scripture booklets were bought and the church leaders were encouraged. Pray for the three men that lead and feed the believers spiritually.
Since Marina returned in mid-April from her trip to Mozambique, where she helped a missionary team get their literacy project up and running, they have been keeping busy with various activities among the Loron.
Marina has daily literacy classes with numerous teenagers who never had the opportunity to go to school and she also continues to teach a weekly ladies’ Bible study.
Paul has been developing some new Bible lessons for the Loron teachers and revising others, and also studying John’s Gospel in preparation for a check on a draft that has been produced by the Loron Bible translation team. Over the next couple of weeks the translation committee members will be doing a thorough content and comprehension check of the almost 900 verses in John. They would really appreciate your prayers for that.
Paul and Marina are planning to return to Northern Ireland next month. They are looking forward to the arrival of their sixth grandchild.
