Book-keeping

Becki really enjoyed her time of home assignment in Germany. She arrived back in Senegal safe and sound with all her luggage in May. Adjusting to life in Africa again wasn’t easy; especially getting used to the noises in Dakar at night. It is definitely a lot quieter in Germany! But she is now able to ignore the noise and sleep again at night.
Becki’s return to the Jalunga work has been postponed for a few months and she has been helping out with the book-keeping; she was trained to be the backup a few years ago.
Lord willing Becki will return to the village in September to continue with her language studies there. Until then she is living at the NTM guesthouse in Dakar.
Becki’s co-worker Penny has been working on the translation of the Gospel of Luke ready for a translation check.
A young lady who is working with a Mennonite Mission has joined them in the village. The mission would like to work among the Jalungas in another African country so she has started learning Jalunga in readiness.
Pray for the Jalungas who are being taught in God’s word right now or already have heard it, that they will understand it and will come to know Christ as their personal saviour.
