Pawaians reaching out

Of course it is a real joy for them to be with their dear friends. Just to encourage and to teach them from God’s Word. They drink in every word and love to be taught from the Word of God!
Pray for the believers in Pawaia. Ten men recently made a very difficult, long trek to another village. They will stay there for around two months and teach the Creation to Christ lessons.
Pray for hearts to be prepared as they teach God’s Word and for a good reception.
Pray for all the travel and for good health as they will be isolated and cut off from civilisation. There is a lot of cerebral malaria in the area as well as other tropical diseases.
Pray for the families they leave behind for two months.
Pray for much fruit to His praise and glory.
Last week Jack and Isa attended a Trainers Forum at New Tribes Mission headquarters in North Cotes for a week of meetings. It takes them a good six hours drive from Whitehaven where they live. They had special sessions for teachers for five days for those involved in the teaching programme with New Tribes Mission. Folks came from the USA, Canada and Europe. Jack took a morning session during the week.
In the next week or so they plan to return to North Cotes for two or three weeks. That is when Jack teaches the students daily. Jack and Isa enjoy this time and they get to make lots of new friends with folk who are like minded and want to serve the Lord.
