Stepping up

New Prai believers are growing in faith and service to one another.

"It was conference time, and Dave and I wanted to give the believers the opportunity show responsibility and to serve the other villages," said Fran Jordan.

These believers stepped up to the challenge. They were only two families and three women, but they set up the conference area, provided transportation, planned the food, and took care of many other details.

One hundred thirty believers from six Prai villages participated. Many shared enthusiastically during the three-day event, about what God is doing in their village and surrounding area. There were teaching sessions, collective worship, women’s and children’s events, plenty of good food, coffee and fellowship.

"When the guest speaker was unable to attend, we saw this as an opportunity for Prai men, just learning to teach, to share the Word," Fran shared.  "Some of them stood with their Bible trainer for support, but all did a fine job."

"We have cried out to the Lord for more Prai men to teach and lead the church and God is answering that prayer," rejoice the Jordans.

Thank you for praying for the Prai church. Together, we are transforming lives through the Word of God.
