Believers bonding

Growth among the Tobo believers in Papua New Guinea has been slow but steady.

During the past few weeks missionaries Jason and Nisae Williamson have felt the Lord’s leading to hold a meeting especially for the Tobo believers, excluding those of different faiths who attend the Sunday meetings.

The believers who met together felt a great sense of relief. They were able to share openly with one another and pray for one another. It was obvious to the missionary team that the Tobo believers were bonding as a family as they met together.

When Jason asked them what they had learned from their study of Ephesians, they all opened up and began telling him what they had learned and how God was strengthening their faith.

Unex and his wife Eski were recently saved and are being taught from the lesson series for new believers.

“We are praying that they will grow spiritually as they learn the purpose of meeting together and are reminded again of God’s big redemption story and His plan for their lives,” wrote Jason. “Pray for the others attending that this teaching would convict their hearts and lead them into a real desire to follow God.”
