A new hat to wear

Over the last two months, missionary Scott Meyer has been adapting to his new role as a regional administrator in the Asia-Pacific region.

He started off his new responsibilities by spending some time in the Wana tribe, meeting with tribal leaders to encourage their ministries and discuss further outreach plans.

After meeting with the church leaders, he was off to his next location for area committee meetings and then, three days later, he attended leadership team meetings, which consisted of updates on tribal ministry.

While he was in the area for leadership team meetings, Scott had a chance to share opportunities and the needs of Asia-Pacific region to the leadership team and to many new families who are currently in language study, preparing to eventually serve among some of the tribes.

Now that he's back at his home in the town where his wife, Rachel, and their children are, he's busy fulfilling his role as husband, father, missionary, and handy-man.

"Scott has ... been catching up on the many around-the-house projects that needed to be finished," Rachel wrote. "The conversion of our garage to library is in the final stages, and we are ready to begin moving the bookshelves."

The Meyers are also getting to know the central region team now that Scott has a new role.

"We are excited to have our full town team here now, and appreciate your prayers for us as we begin functioning in our ministry roles and begin to mesh together as a team," Rachel wrote.

Please pray for unity among their team and that God's vision for how He wants to use them will be clear.
