More Loron literacy teachers trained

Missionaries Paul and Marina Briggs may be on home assignment, but that isn't stopping the work in the Loron tribe of Ivory Coast from moving forward.

A few days ago they talked to Joel, a Loron Bible teacher and literacy coordinator. Joel told the Briggs that he recently conducted a teacher training course for Loron people who want to start literacy schools in their villages.

As a result of the training, two more literacy centers will soon be opening. This means that eleven Loron villages are now getting the chance to read and write in their own language for the first time.

Please pray for Joel as he serves his people as a literacy teacher and coordinator, a Bible teacher and medical worker.

Pray also that the new literacy schools are successful and a good witness to the Loron people.
