Prai believers move to teach

Nok and Nute will help people learn to read and write, and lead preschool.

Two young Prai ladies, Nok and Nute, received training in preparing preschool materials in a mother tongue in order to go to an isolated village and teach the children there. Missionary Fran Jordan also helped train them to teach literacy in the village.

There are 20 new believers in the village and they are eager for the ladies to arrive. The village has no electricity so this will be a new challenge for Nok and Nute. They will move there soon and have committed to teach there for the next year.

Pray also that the new believers will stand strong and grow in their faith. Many of them are illiterate. Please pray that they will be motivated to learn to read so that they can read God’s Word for themselves and allow Him to help them to grow.

Pray for Nok and Nute as they teach the children and hold literacy classes for the adults. Pray that they will look to the Lord for wisdom and strength to accomplish all that the Lord has for them.
