Well digging

Jan and Doortje from the Netherlands serve itinerantly among the Komono people of Cote d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso and are thankful for recent good travel to West Africa. Jan has been enjoying a SIL course on putting Scripture in an app on the phone, audio as well as reading, booklets, songs and other things. Pray for Jan to have wisdom and discipline in working on translation and in checking as well as good fellowship, safety and health on this trip.

Their co-worker also had a good trip to the village to check several translated books. Pray for her adjustment back in Burkina Faso: temperature, culture, people, languages, house, etc.

There is still a need for a missionary couple for Bible teaching and discipleship.

They thank the Lord that He is building His church among the Komono. The enthusiastic Komono teachers are teaching literacy to a group of determined Komono people. Pray that they would work well together and have patience as they teach the Komono to read and write. Pray for unity among the Komono believers and for them to bear fruit in their own and others’ lives.
