After spending time with Clark and Mary following their accident, Norman and Bobby returned to N. Ireland and began to arrange their next journey to Southeast Asia. However, Norman took unwell and was admitted to hospital for a few days in June where it was discovered he needed his gallbladder removed. That was done on 29th September and he is now recovering well. Bobby’s mother has also been poorly recently. After another fall and a spell in hospital she has been transferred from residential care to nursing care.
It’s at times like these that Norman and Bobby are really thankful that they can maintain contact with the field through skype, email and other electronic communication.
Clark and Mary have been back in the USA for continued medical attention and rehabilitation. It has been a rough road for Mary but in all her suffering her attitude has been a testimony, reminding people that God is always good, even through times of suffering. Pray for a full recovery for them and for their eventual return to the work in Southeast Asia.
In spite of many interruptions and problems, Norman and Bobby know that God is at work in Southeast Asia. They are excited about the doors that are opening in new locations and the opportunities to reach the unreached of this region. God is providing labourers for the harvest and encouraging them with faithful ‘partners’ in the places that they go.
Norman and Bobby thank you for your prayers, and for standing with them in the ups and downs of life and ministry.
