NTM in the UK

The UK Bible college and Headquarters were initially set up in Matlock Bath, Derbyshire. Students from around the world attended the Bible courses in England. In those early years, for students who were interested in career work with NTM, it was necessary to complete the practical missions training in the USA, Canada or Australia.

By 1998 it was clear that the property in Matlock Bath could no longer accommodate the need for expansion and development of a fully comprehensive training programme in Europe.

In 1999, through a series of events, and a bid by faith, God guided NTM to an extraordinary property in North Cotes, Lincolnshire. God’s miraculous gift of £500,000.00 provided the purchase price for the forty acre property. This former Royal Air Force base included: office buildings, large residential blocks, classroom buildings, a dining area, sports facilities and much more. North Cotes became the new location for New Tribes Mission Bible and Missionary Training Centre and Headquarters.

The move from Matlock Bath took place in July 1999; the first term of the Biblical Studies course at North Cotes started in September.
